Nancy Kaplan-Biegel is the journalism program coordinator and professor at Skyline College. She advises both The Skyline View newspaper and Viewpoint magazine. Aside from the interaction with her students, what she loves most about her job is the necessity to keep building skills. Not an expert in data journalism, Kaplan-Biegel has spent the last several years taking every data journalism online class she could find. She strives to make beginning data journalism skills accessible to those who would normally find it intimidating.
